John Clark is a Managing Director of Performance Equity and a member of its Investment Committee. Prior to joining Performance Equity, Mr. Clark was a Portfolio Manager in the General Motors Investment Management (GMIMCo) Private Equity Group and a member of the PEIAC. Prior to joining General Motors Investment Management in 1998, Mr. Clark managed private equity and debt investments for MetLife for almost ten years. As a Director of MetLife’s private equity group, he managed certain direct and majority-owned equity investments, as well as domestic fund sponsor relationships. Prior to this, he was a Senior Accountant at KPMG Peat Marwick. Mr. Clark is a member of the CFA Institute. He received his undergraduate degree and his MBA from Brigham Young University.
